Deborah Fawcett Hadden

Artist & Horsewoman

Reviews

I saw the exhibit of Debby's paintings at the Exton Library. The use of light in Debby's paintings makes them dynamic.     -Margaret W.

Debby Hadden catches the feel of the rolling Pennsylvania fields in her well composed paintings. Her hunt scenes make very effective use of the red coats of the riders and the white hounds . Debby's remarkable understanding of equine anatomy is evident in all her horse pictures and her portraits of particular horses are true likenesses.    - Sara Sue Pennell, Fine Artist

As a historian, I particularly appreciate the way Debby captures scenes of the past in the paintings she’s done from old photographs. I also like her use of light and shadows whether in her paintings of horses or landscapes, scenes from the present or long ago.    -Esther C.
